He was the founding member of Boone Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, a leader in providing Ear, Nose and Throat services in NW North Carolina since 1990. Dr. Ellis was named the Employer of the Year for 2005 by the Area Chamber of Commerce and received the Governor’s Award of Excellence for the state of North Carolina for his contributions to education in the state.

Dr. Ellis has a passion for Pediatric ENT, care for nose and sinus problems, and care for thryoid and parathyroid problems and minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery.

He and his wife Langhorne have been married since 1977 and have three lovely North Carolina daughters.

Dr. Moffitt graduated Magna Cum Laude and received his undergraduate from West Virginia University in 2001. He received his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale , FL in 2004 graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Moffitt has a broad range of clinical experience diagnosing and treating hearing loss in adults and children as well as evaluating patients with balance disorders.

Dr. Moffitt is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. He has enjoyed speaking as a guest lecturer for Wilkes Community College ‘s American Sign Language Class.

His goal is to provide the best possible hearing health care, based on individual needs. He provides a one-on-one experience where your hearing problem is corrected efficiently, comfortably, and professionally.

He and his wife Tara have four young daughters.
